Thief can even go and trade with the npc again (not the stolen items tho.)Ģ) To make it easy have one or more people from your party talk to the npc so they don't walk around and don't change thei sight lines. Search only happenes once so you won't be asked again afterwards. To avoid this the thief goes alone and as soon as he is done have him run away a small distance, meanwhile let your other party members to be searched - since they are clean nothing will happen. The npc will turn to your party and if you are all "chained" together the "let me check your bags" will be trigered on all of your party. This is what trips you up - all npcs will notice that they have been pick-pocketed. I am here to explain it:ġ) have one thief and make sure he is not as a part of a party when you steal (he is NOT chained so as to move together with others) Go and pickpocket everyone with every single character, and you’ll never need gold again. Some people don't seem to understand how stealing works in D:OS2. There are lots of random NPCs you can recruit to help you on the ship, and many of them carry an insane amount of gold. Instead of tricking random traders, you’ll instead be able to rob from the traders you recruit to the Lady Vengeance, a ship that’s available later in the game. Like Method #2, this method is all about pickpocketing. You don’t need high stealth to rob Ryker’s place blind. There are more rooms with more masked servants - go through the house, picking it clean. Collect everything and unload at the nearest store to easily earn 3,500 gold. The dining table is a treasure trove of items - golden spoons, serving plates, forks, knives, pitchers, and tons of other junk that’s good only for selling.

Talk to him so he looks away from the table. He’ll turn to face whatever direction you choose to talk to him. NOTE: Talk to the Masked Servant beside the dining table. They can wait outside of town or in a far-off location where your thievery victims won’t find them.
